We had a wonderful day off. We took it easy in the morning, slept in and didn't use our alarms. Which we all know are some of the best days! We talked shop and memories around the kitchen table through the afternoon and then got out and enjoyed the beautiful 80 degree weather. We took a quick train ride at the St. Louis Zoo. It was toward the end of the day so we only saw the butt of a zebra, an elephant, and baby alligator- But either way it was nice to enjoy the weather and get a nice walk in. After that we got some late afternoon beers and a delicious cheese plate at The Scottish Arms before heading to dinner at Rooster. We finished the evening with frozen custard from Ted Drewes. By then I was stuffed to the brim. Having a chef for a host, he knows where to take you for a night out on the town. It was wonderfully delicious and I'm very thankful for a day of fun, laughter, relaxing, and great food. See some photos of our day below.
A rad sculpture at the zoo
Train rides at the zoo don't really let you see many animals. Oh welp!
Where did the sea lions go?

Ending the night reading the Kendrick article in the latest rolling stone.
